For any student of the Bible if they want to understand the book of Revelations, this book is a MUST HAVE. Mr Ogden's use of the Old and New Testaments to explain Revelations is excellant.
This is a very good commentary for Revelation. Its explanation is base on the premise that the book of Revelation is written before the fall of Jerusalem and is written to prophesy of things that were "shortly" going to come to pass. The primary message was that the Jews were being punished for their mistreatment of the prophets and for crucifying Jesus. The punishment was the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of the Jewish law.
this is a great book. the man broke away from tradition to see what the bible actually has to say about this subject
I thought it was going to be the book. Instead it was a fill-in questionnaire for the book. If I can ever afford the book, perhaps I will be able to fill out the questionnaire.
